Terms of Service

These Terms govern PLAYGRND accounts, public amateur-football records, organizer tools, Termini, uploads, messaging and AI-assisted features.

1. Service and affirmative acceptance

PLAYGRND is operated by HILLS Lab d.o.o. You accept this exact version only by selecting the required acceptance control when it is presented. A visit, display of the documents or continued use without a recorded affirmative action is not acceptance. For a new account, acceptance is required during registration. For an existing account, the current version is presented for acceptance on Profile; other application routes are not treated as acceptance and are not globally blocked solely because this acceptance is outstanding. This required action concerns the core service only and is not consent to marketing, public contact details, non-essential analytics or model training.

Provide accurate account information, protect access links and sessions, and report unauthorized use. Do not impersonate another person, knowingly submit false records, harass or spam, scrape or overload the service, bypass access controls or use PLAYGRND unlawfully.

2. Public football records and claims

PLAYGRND publishes amateur-football facts such as names, teams, appearances, fixtures, results, events, tables and statistics. Records may come directly from organizers and other authorized submitters, official records, documented public sports sources, players and reviewed corrections. A record may exist before the person creates an account.

A successful claim gives the account control over supported profile settings; it does not prove every historical record or create ownership over facts. Identity verification is separate. We may correct, merge, label, suspend or revoke a claim when evidence, security or competition integrity requires it. Request correction at [email protected].

3. Data and content supplied by an organizer

If you submit a roster, result, schedule, match sheet, photo, logo, contact detail or response for an organizer, you and the represented organization confirm authority to act and manage that scope, an applicable lawful basis, required Article 13 or 14 transparency, and the rights and licences needed for submission, technical processing and the agreed publication. This does not mean the organizer owns personal data or creates rights in a third party database or work. Material from another system or database may be submitted only with a documented right for that extraction and reuse. PLAYGRND may request evidence and reject, freeze or remove material while it is insufficient.

Submit only necessary, accurate and current sports data. Without prior written instruction, do not submit special-category data, identity documents, private contacts, minors' full dates of birth, confidential or excessive data. Apply child safeguards and promptly cooperate on source verification, correction, restriction, erasure, de-indexing, takedown, DSAR and incident handling.

For material for which you hold the necessary rights, you grant HILLS Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for the territory and period needed for the agreed PLAYGRND functions to host, back up under the published rotation, technically adapt, display and provide it to contracted providers only to operate, secure and explain the service. It excludes new marketing, commercial or AI-training use. Submission does not transfer ownership of personal data or remove HILLS Lab's controller duties.

To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory Croatian and EU law, the organizer is responsible for direct documented loss, reasonable external costs and third-party claims caused by its intentional or culpable breach of these representations and will cooperate in defence and removal. This does not limit data-subject or consumer rights, exclude non-excludable liability or transfer HILLS Lab's own duties or liability.

4. Termini, messaging, uploads and AI

Termini supports invitations, participant and organizer-on-behalf responses, reminders, team division and match administration. Organizers remain responsible for final participant, venue and match decisions. WhatsApp, Telegram and supported channels may provide account access, notifications, support and AI assistance under the channel provider's terms.

Upload only football-related material you may share. AI may assist with intent recognition, search, transcription, image or match-sheet OCR, classification and drafts, and can be wrong. AI does not verify identity, make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or write protected competition data without applicable rules and, where required, human review.

5. Availability and changes

PLAYGRND is evolving. We may change, limit, pause or discontinue features, moderate unlawful or harmful content and restrict accounts for safety, integrity, security or availability. A material Terms or Privacy change uses a new immutable version and triggers refreshed acknowledgment or acceptance where required.

6. Liability and law

We use reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free community and source records. Nothing excludes mandatory liability, consumer rights or controller duties. To the maximum lawful extent, HILLS Lab is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss from downtime, third-party services or inaccurate user-supplied records. Croatian law applies without removing mandatory protection.
